Block Party 2024 - Fairglen Eichlers

This year’s block party will be held on September 7, 2024 from 5-10 pm on Fairwood Avenue. Please come dressed in your 80s threads!

Party starts at 5:00pm: bump into your Eichler neighbours, enjoy the music, grab a drink, visit the food trucks, and have a chat with our party sponsors. Visit the check in table, the first 50 households can take home a party t-shirt! **Bring your lawn chair, so you can get comfy!

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Kids take note: Bring your bike/scooter to the party to decorate it from 5:00-6:15pm. You’ll be able to show off your wheels when the bike parade starts at 6:15!

Bakers take note: Do you have what it takes to take home this year’s Best Dessert Trophy? Drop off your entry at Susan’s house (1671 Fairwood) before the judging starts at 6:00pm. Winner will be announced at 7:15pm.

Get ready to jam:

We will have a live DJ spinning the best of the 80s. We’re excited to host two bands, who will pump up the jams for us. At 6:45pm, get ready for Dads Against Boredom, featuring a fellow local Eichler neighbor. At 7:25pm, we’ll welcome Fake Canadian, a Sacramento based band, originally from San Jose.
