The Fairglen Art Festival in San Jose started as one woman’s art show and emerged over the years as an important regional draw for artists and craftsmakers until its transformation in the mid-90’s. It’s likely that it was the largest public event to take place on a regular basis in an Eichler neighborhood anywhere!
Although we no longer run the art festival, the FAF spirit is alive and well in our annual neighborhood block party each summer.
